Ryan Bergman // sales associate

For more than a decade, Ryan Bergman has been actively involved in real estate, working as a retail real estate broker in New York City. During his time in New York City, he represented national, international and local retailers in search of their flagship locations, as well as local and institutional landlords looking for best and highest use for their buildings.
Among his noteworthy accomplishments, Ryan was an integral part of the team that came up with the successful leasing, merchandising, and marketing plan for New York City’s first transit retail concourse, called TurnStyle, in Columbus Circle. The project consists of 34 stores with tenants such as Starbucks, Fika Espresso Bar, Dylan Candy Bar, Lush, and Papyrus.This project transformed the non-utilized concourse into a fully activated retail corridor. The team was a finalist for 2015 REBNY Deal of the Year for creating the merchandising and leasing efforts.

Prior to his career in real estate, Ryan co-founded an energy procurement company called Sure Flow Energy Services.The company worked with commercial clients including hotels, health care facilities, retailers, and building owners to ensure they procured the best possible gas and electric supply rates in many deregulated markets.
Ryan is an excellent communicator, and has built himself a vast network. He is also a tenacious negotiator and deal maker, and is known in the real estate industry as hard-working and honest. He truly enjoys speaking with people, and helping in any way he can!
Along with his wife, Karen, and their twin sons, Andrew and Shawn, Ryan lives in Woodcliff Lake. They chose Woodcliff Lake because Karen’s parents have lived there for 30 years and knew it was the perfect place to raise a family.
